To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 港式茶餐廳係香港主流飲食文化,而且梗有一間係你左右,要飲要食,非常方便。但方便歸方便,好多茶餐廳食物和服務水準都唔夠穩定,有時真係食到一肚氣。講食物和服務水準夠穩陣,就非金記冰室莫屬。小弟係金記常客,總是喜歡佢食物和服務水準夠穩定,而且食物款式選擇多,價錢又經濟實惠。唔知係咪好多香港人都有同感,見佢開完一間又一間,最近更開到筲箕灣形薈新商場,當然要先食為快!其實金記冰室前身為筲箕灣大排檔,今次真係強勢回歸。正是新冰室,新商場,新裝修,樓底又高,加埋單邊一排大玻璃門窗,環境開揚,坐得舒適。金記食物款式選擇很豐富,晚飯時間,就簡單叫了個2人自選小菜餐,加個金磚風沙豆腐和甜品金粒西多配雪糕。2人自選小菜餐可選2個小菜,選了霸王雞(例牌)和欖菜肉崧四季豆,另送老火湯、白飯和飲品。是日老火湯是南瓜雪耳木瓜豬骨湯,湯底清甜又滋潤,火候足,喝了一碗,意猶未盡。霸王雞(例牌)份量唔錯,雞件肉厚,雞肉嫩滑,配上香蔥醬油,都幾滋味。欖菜肉崧四季豆,四季豆色澤翠綠,配上鮮紅辣椒絲、肉崧、欖菜,賣相不錯。四季豆炒得乾身香口,鑊氣十足,加上惹味的肉崧和咸香欖菜,用嚟撈飯,最適合不過。金磚風沙炸豆腐就出奇的好,豆

金磚風沙炸豆腐就出奇的好,豆腐即點即炸,上枱時熱辣辣,豆腐成長條狀,件件大小均混,入口外脆內滑,味道交足功課。

飯後甜品是金粒西多配雪糕,金粒西多size適中,粒粒炸至金黃微焦,充滿蛋香,再加上煉奶和冰凍雲呢拿雪糕,真是最佳配搭。
