To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 媽媽不想煮飯,便決定到附近的酒家食一餐。本時下午茶就經常來到這間富臨,晚飯時間來好似係第一次。晚飯時段酒家都好多人,不過未到滿底的程度,所以唔洗等就已經可以入座。富臨的小菜似乎會定期UPDATE,每個月都有不同的優惠讓食客有多點新鮮感。蠔皇八頭鮑魚扣金錢($26.8/位)八頭鮑魚扣金錢,單是菜名已經好吸引,仲要每位都是$26.8而已。唔係唔試呀。起初鮑魚會好韌,怕媽媽咬唔到。但哩個八頭鮑就煮到好軟身,但保留住煙韌的咬感。加上鮑魚汁的提味,甚是好食。大大隻又厚身的冬菇,吸收了鮑魚汁的香味,咬落好豐滿的口感。放在一邊的西蘭花份量都好多。又係加埋鮑魚汁一齊食。黑椒頂級牛仔骨($88)牛仔骨以小炒鑊的形式送上,食到依然好有鑊氣好夠熱。主角是牛仔骨,每件牛仔骨都醃至入味,咬落軟嫩,帶牛仔骨的肉香。加上配料的番茄﹑洋蔥等的調味,十分惹味。個人最喜歡裡面煮到軟淋的薯仔。金銀菜燉白肺($128)好清甜的一個燉湯,用料好足,而又一點也不油膩。金銀菜菜乾煮到出晒甜味,令成個湯都好清甜。而且還用上了豬肺,雞腳﹑排骨等的調味,各種材料的鮮味又好搭。買單埋,侍應又會送清甜糖水,是晚是南瓜西米露,令整個晚飯為上一
