To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 月尾既時候,銀包大縮水,糧尾一到,真係街都唔想出,出街食飯又貴,依家兩個人拍拖食飯想搵啲又平又抵又打到下卡既地方真係好難。將軍澳popcorn 越開越多期,呢日走過去見到呢間新既餐廳好多人排隊,似乎唔錯。墨汁海鮮意大利飯 $68,唔算太貴,連鎖餐廳既價錢,食落好多墨汁,仲有少少忌廉既味道。反而面頭既海鮮用蕃茄炒過,仲加左兩片新鮮既香草,抵讚。不過我自己本身以為海鮮會同飯一齊煮,點知就分開咁擺上面,有啲意料之外,擺盤上係靚啲既,唔會淨係黑炆炆咁一碟。另外男朋友仔嗌咗 鮮茄焗豬扒飯$5x ,抵讚既係好多配菜,好多汁,不過豬扒就乾身少少,撈埋飯食會好啲。最後既係肉丸焗薯蓉,呢個有驚喜,薯蓉焗得非常香口,肉丸都唔少,$28都幾抵食。ps. 另外見隔離檯個焗薯條好正,下次再試。
