To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 本想為我的最愛南記出一點力打首篇食評,怎料已被截足先登地點就在原來海皇粥店那兒,即bread talk旁  下班下課,本想附近旺角吃結果女朋友仔離奇建議吃南記魚露辣椒油春卷的影像立刻在腦內翻滾一人一碗大雜錦米線米線,新鮮,幼細,帶少韌清湯底,香濃不覺咸惟沒有魚蛋,收銀處亦貼有"休漁期沒魚蛋"的告示魚餃、墨丸、牛丸、春卷紛呈加上大量魚露,少許辣椒油,馥香可口,回味無窮下次再來便試其小鍋,看看與銅鑼灣店、灣仔店、上環店有否差別凍豆漿較淡,$9略貴環境不錯在黃埔這個寸土呎金的地方開店,竟不是全場圓桌像譚仔般,務求令食客坐得不舒適,吃得不閒逸相反,內裏有一半地方卻寬寬的放三張卡位桌,即最多僅可坐十多人試想如放滿的是圓桌圓椅,起碼可坐二十多人這就是謀利與空間的平衡,南記太棒了,並無唯利是圖以往都是在港島區想不到吃甚麼結果還是回到南記,現在在九龍開新店,我這些新界食客也可沾點光,最少不用越海就可吃到南記嘛下一站,來新界開店吧
