To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 明天朋友約我在他家附近吃晚餐,隨便吃就找到這家店,這家店是一般連鎖快餐茶餐廳,價錢大眾化,最啱想快快搞掂一餐嘅我。朋友點了招牌海南雞飯,我則點了蠔仔肉碎泡飯。朋友說他的海南雞飯多個雞,雞肉亦不太滑。而我的蠔仔肉碎泡飯,黑椒味太重,使我一路食一路咳,我明白食店想以黑椒掩蓋蠔仔的腥味,但太多黑色反而弄巧反絕,我建議餐廳可以放多啲芫荽去劈咗蠔仔嘅腥味。價錢方面,以做街坊生意的茶餐廳來說,不算特別平,希望質素提高多一點就好了。
