To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 美心價錢,澳牛服務話說我地一行5人(4大1B) 8:30PM 入座叫餐食8:32PM 落單9:00PM 未有野食追單9:19PM 全部9碟餸不分前菜主食甜品嚟齊俾我地9:25 出單過嚟叫我哋找數埋單找數反映下等我哋食完先同野食太快,樓面(間條衫鄭小姐)完全零反應照收錢,直到同佢講唔找數住要仲同我哋「解釋」話收左錢先我哋可以坐到1030PM,及後我哋堅持食完飯先埋單。9:40PM 另一樓面Nicole 過嚟收錢,賞試同我哋解釋及致歉,但講多兩句又「教育」我哋知道原來十拎分鐘未有野食,食客就應該主動去追。全程上菜,服務,教育食客體驗千奇百趣,強烈建議想有另類飲食體驗人士親身感受。我就下次都係返大陸食飯先,起碼食完唔會急到胃痛又成肚氣。附上一張單證明入座及埋單時間
