To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今次黎到彩福皇宴真係幾有驚喜,估唔到中式嘅酒樓都有crossover喎!平時去酒樓既飲品都不外乎汽水、啤酒、橙汁等等,估唔到而家仲有埋日本清酒,仲會有埋建議配咩食,真係幾創新既嘗試!原來而家有「SEAFOOD LOVES SAKE」活動,將日本清酒與廣東海鮮菜式配搭菜單估都估唔到既係配搭係老壇酸菜魚 x 月桂冠特撰清酒! 呢道菜色除左魚肉重要之外,酸菜都可以話係老壇酸菜魚既靈魂,酸酸辣辣既味道令人難以忘懷,魚肉夠滑又唔腥。配埋月桂冠特撰清酒,口感豐盈,將整道菜既甘辛酸辣提升,呢個組合真係想像唔到咁夾
