To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 雖說小的出街食飯首選並非中菜,不過作為結結實實的中國人,每隔一段日子,骨子裡總會心絲絲地想起不同種類的中式料理。週日早晨相約同區鄰居飲飲茶,既然住在附近,當然選擇樓下的商場。將軍澳區的居住人口愈來愈多,假日的餐廳食肆均其門如市,想飲茶嗎?煩請盡早等位。幸好咱們時間靈活,犯不著與公公婆婆老人家爭上晨早時段,午市在正午12:00開始,於是咱們便於11:00左右的空檔成功增取位置。美心集團旗下有許多不同的品牌,是日咱們便在翠園用餐。這一陣子,餐廳剛推出了懷舊主題:老點家老菜。特製的精美餐牌上提供了許多歷史悠久的廣東點心美食。鄰居朋友喜歡懷舊菜式,這一下巧合的緣份實是正中下懷。至於小的也饒有興緻地在餐牌裡細閱精挑,在朋友未到前預先揀上幾道菜。沒多久人齊,咱們隨即點菜。阿嫂一向喜歡瘋狂喪點,有趣的是她點完以後卻是自己不吃迫人吃。以前舊時代資源缺乏,多弄些菜式招呼賓客吃到有餘有剩是禮貌。然而今天香港人生活富足,愛惜食物,食得曬,先好嗌;食唔曬,咪亂嘥。要是不能吃不完兜著走,點菜最好適可而止。經歷了多回浪費的經驗,這次小的學乖了。只作個樣稍稍地點了一、兩道菜,把其餘的全留給阿嫂拿捏。結果,咱們四個人

順德炸奶卷為小的所選的其中一款懷舊菜。自己一向好喜歡大良炒鮮奶,可以將平日只用來飲或做早餐的鮮奶以炸炒的煮法弄出有香又酥的獨特料理,這當首推順德大廚的功架。在香港能夠品嚐炒鮮奶的機會不多,彷彿就似焗魚腸一般,每當遇上小的便不會錯過。這次的懷舊點心雖則並非傳統大良炒鮮奶,卻是異曲同功。

率先上場的順德炸奶卷其外形就如春卷,不過內裡的餡料卻非豆芽、蘿蔔與肉碎,而是結結實實的一堆鮮奶。一啖入口,香脆非常。裡頭的鮮奶透出淡淡的甜香,只可惜滿心期待的菜式卻有點失望。沒有了蔬菜與鮮肉,炸奶卷缺乏了一份鹹酥味,菜式是甜得來有點寡膩。莫以為炒鮮奶是很容易煮的菜式,要弄得香酥鹹鮮再回甘,火喉調味都有師傅。印象中小的在將軍澳Crowne Plaza酒店的紫粵軒裡吃過高水準的出品,但在又一城的潮庭卻是弄得麻麻。這一次的再度嚐試,結果是再度失望了。

鮮蝦鳯冠餃一籠三隻,推來推去小的吃了一顆。餃子的外皮有點像上海鍋貼般很是厚韌,比例上變得皮多餡少,喜歡澱粉的朋友可能鐘意,不過卻不太合小的之脾胃。

瑤柱糯米雞非常精緻,四個人分享滋味不凡。小時候小的很愛糯米雞,有一小顆迷李糯米雞做早餐,濕濕地勝過乾啃麵包。如今大個兒選擇多了,糯米雞已被遺棄。

粉果、牛肉球與煎釀三寶都弄得不過不失,前者卻始終不及街頭風味。蝦餃要比鳯冠餃出色。由於老伴愛吃鮮竹卷,小的特意多讓半顆。
