對上一次到訪蓮香樓已是很久以前的事,今次到訪,環境依舊,等位人龍同樣出現。每次於蓮香樓用餐,通常是點選家常小菜,亦正正是簡單的家常小菜,更易測試大廚門的功力。花生蓮藕煲雞腳:湯料足,湯水夠火喉可口。粟米石斑塊:斑塊用上肉質結實的青衣柳,食味不俗。蝦仁炒蛋:炒蛋很香滑,蝦仁夠大隻夠鮮爽,激讚!西檸雞:雞件脆香但略老火,西檸汁薄身美味。菜心炒牛肉:菜心合時清甜,口感腍身。牛肉鬆軟入味。琵琶豆腐:醬汁過稠,豆腐質感略實,賣相亦見老火。紅豆沙:起沙,甜度味道合心。
