To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

喺粉嶺聯和墟，時間尚早，食個tea. 明珠冰室門面絕對唔係靚裝架啦，不過店舖乾淨。收銀枱放左酒精搓手液同埋空氣淨化噴霧機 呢啲時勢 餐廳注意清潔都會令食客安心啲。有心思既係 膠袋紙巾杯都係印左餐廳名「明珠」-常餐 （迷你菠蘿油、火腿炒蛋、雪菜肉絲米線、熱檸茶）值得一讚既係菠蘿油🤩細細個 過下口癮 好過平時食餐包咁乾同悶；蛋都炒得滑😋-明珠叉燒包配紅豆冰（叉燒包再加左沙律醬同煎蛋，流到朋友成手蛋黃 🍳 紅豆冰就一般啦）
