To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

幾個月沒到來，今天店家煮麵的爐有故障，只賣粥、腸粉和炒粉炒麵，不過不要緊，我還是點我最愛的雞粥和混醬腸粉。今天的粥沒以往的那麼好吃，原因是粥內的雞全是雞胸肉，很柴。腸粉依然好吃，仍是那麼滑。腸粉上桌時只放了醬油和芝麻，其他醬料是放在桌上由顧客自己添加的。甜醬、辣醬和麻醬都是我的最愛，添加後腸粉美味無窮。很想讚讚這兒的侍應，送上雞粥給我溫馨提示，說粥內可能有點碎骨，叫我吃時留神。另外，每次光顧，侍應都會送上一壺蘋果茶，收費$3。價錢一點也不貴，但那茶味我不太喜歡。這次問了，原來可以不要那茶，費用也不會收取。
