To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 好耐無出旺角了, 就是怕太多人, 太多遊客, 太迫. 今天迫於無奈, 約了友人賣東西, 在雅蘭商場等, 但早了到達, 走了一圈, 決定太興下午茶. 原來並非每一間太興都有供應”炒粉麵”的下午茶, 上月在佐敦太興吃過了下午茶”生炒排骨飯”, 原來這間不供應, 真失望, 原因不礙是遊客旺區, 比乜你都照食啦, 使鬼咁多款式咩….想當年, 重係$38個乳豬三寶飯餐, 今天已經升到$66, 升咗成倍, 可憐打工仔既人工升得過幾個巴先, 真陰公.佐敦太興可以$38食到碟”生炒排骨飯”, 呢到只能夠以$35食碗公仔麵. 麵就麵啦. 個名都零捨嚇人: “頂級午餐肉滑蛋公仔麵”, 點樣”頂級”呀!? 用西班牙黑毛豬做呀!?上檯時個樣都唔算差, 只係湯面過了麵, 無圖片咁靚啫, 麵身咬落尚算彈口, 味道略為過鹹, 麻油香?? 想都唔好想喇! 午餐肉, 兩片, 不算薄, 香口?? 難矣, 完全無煎過, 咬落散口. 竟然用炒蛋, 唔太好囉, 茶餐廳應該用煎蛋麻, 最好有脆邊啦, 又係妄想呀! 加一條菜比你, 算有交代喇.冰鎮奶茶, 又係另一花巧貨, 茶味又唔係好濃, 但奶味超強, 冰都未溶就飲晒啦, 攪咁既

冰鎮奶茶, 又係另一花巧貨, 茶味又唔係好濃, 但奶味超強, 冰都未溶就飲晒啦, 攪咁既嘢, 收多你幾銀, 基本上個幾粒冰係無用既, 要保持杯奶茶夠凍, 除非加冰又加水, 否則只係幾粒冰貼一貼杯身, 做樣多過實用!
