生蠔配上藍色樽身來自德國產的Pieroth Blue Bottle 2014($78/Glass),就是個美妙配搭﹔由於平常沒有對白酒有太深研究,所以只能介定喜歡的範圍是易入口帶果香的味道級別,而這支Pieroth Blue Bottle口感較fruity易入口,味道頗為香甜不酸澀,喜歡杯中物的不妨一試﹔

是日精選頭盤是阿拉斯加長腳蟹配番茄莎莎,三小款凍盤用上長形碟盛載,終於有點似法國菜,貴精不貴多的擺碟了,長腳蟹啖啖肉伴入沙律醬味道偏咸,但再加上青瓜整體味道得以提升﹔番茄莎莎用過鹽、胡椒、橄欖油調味,味道酸甜、清新可口,可以作為開胃菜十分適合﹔

到了湯,分別選擇了鮮蟹肉龍蝦忌廉湯和薑汁南瓜忌廉湯,色澤較深橙色的便是龍蝦忌廉湯,口感厚而味道濃郁,後者薑汁南瓜忌廉湯,將南瓜打蓉,口感質地同樣地厚,唯一不同的是南瓜忌廉湯平起坊間的做法有些不同,會加入薑汁,整個南瓜忌廉湯入口十分暖胃,喝畢才發現有少許薑蓉置於碗底,感覺更似老薑湯,如小妹一樣體虛又抵受得到老薑味的要試試﹔

而另一道主菜- 烤美國安格斯300日肉眼(200G)配紅酒汁($488),毫無疑問地選擇五成熟,肉眼肉質呈嫩紅色,烹烤的時間剛剛好令豐富的肉汁能完全鎖緊於肉眼中,咀嚼起來鮮嫩多汁,充滿牛味,是近期吃得西餐中的質素較高的一款菜式﹔

整頓晚餐,侍應因應用餐速度節奏上菜,服務尚算不錯,而餐廳環境更是無可挑剔,不過要數美中不足的地方就是Set Dinner Menu當中甜品和飲品只能二擇其一,實在有點失色,為何不能兩款並存呢? 期待再下次的話,餐廳在這點方面可以有所進步。
