最近試了上環一間英式氣派的中菜餐廳,餐廳裝修基本上看不到任何中式風格,是一間充滿情調的高級西餐廳,燈光柔和,水泥色灰牆襯上墨綠色,充滿型格派頭。餐廳主打英式中菜,餐飲可以揀選紅酒、白酒、cocktail、Mocktail等西式飲品,西式飲品配上中菜,中西融合。椒鹽魷魚$200我至愛的其中一款小菜就是椒鹽鮮魷,外皮炸至鬆脆酥香,內裡的鮮魷肉質彈牙爽口不過韌,而且炸得夠乾身,不會過份油膩。甜酸雞球(5件)$110甜酸雞球為英式必備中菜,主廚將鮮嫩多汁的雞胸肉切成一口大小,沾上已調味的麵糊後炸成金黃色。而1908BC的甜酸醬以山楂作為酸味來源,並以洛神花調色,非常開胃。Saint Clements’s $125用檸檬果皮做的檸檬利口酒溝上汽泡白葡萄酒,再加上新鮮即榨果汁,酸甜清新開胃,消暑極品。
