阿林:在荃灣開爐端燒實太難得,所以開業初時特意去試,結果也沒有令人失望。牛舌 ($40)、五花腩 ($28) 外脆內軟,脂肪豐腴,調味足,火候夠,不錯。豚肉荔枝 ($28) 先帶鹹香,咬開後溢出滿滿荔枝清甜肉汁。白鱔 ($58) 魚皮脆繃,肉仍幼嫩,好吃。明太子雞翼 ($22) 釀料飽滿,味道濃郁,可惜質感一嚿嚿。冬菇 ($18) 亦有點失色,水分乾得七八。在爐端燒以外,試了蟹膏海鮮炒飯 ($98),惟蟹膏近乎失蹤。店家十分友善,送了我們鱈魚乾作前菜——魚乾烤得香口,兼帶韌勁,佐酒一流,也送了聲稱是紅豆抹茶蕨餅作甜品——菓子質地結實,毫不煙韌,完全不是蕨餅那回事 LOL部分食品縱然較為一般,但若以爐端燒為主軸,則及格有餘。
