Whilst Wanchai is full of places to get a hearty meal, Holy Gaw stands out by offering a variety of Filipino-inspired food which is rarely found in HK. It’s a great spot to try out some exciting fusion cuisine. Quite reasonably priced, the food and the vibes here are absolutely gratifying.▪️𝐆𝐚𝐰’𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐚 🍝It’s my first time trying a pasta with pâté (a paste which contains liver and spices)! It’s my first time trying a pasta with pâté (a paste which contains liver and spices)! To me it tastes fabulous as I love the intense flavour of liver and the sauce perfectly clings to the tagliatelle pasta. Some ppl may find the taste too strong, but to me it’s a wonderful and unique fusion of Italian and Filipino cuisine!

The dish is less surprising in contrast to the carbonara, especially the tenderloin could be more juicy and tender. But the cauliflower rice underneath is nicely cooked and I love its garlicky aroma!

It’s definitely the highlight of the meal. ✨Purple ube ice cream plus green pandan buns are just fantastic!!! I prefer tasting them separately as both are sweet in its distinct flavours and might overpower each other. Soft and crunchy in the same bite.
