To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 晚飯點了三碟小菜: (1) 欖菜肉鬆乾燒扁豆,這個配搭是絕配,炒得很入味,又不油膩。伴潮洲粥一流。(2 ),又想食煎黄花,但又怕熱氣,這種煮法是好選擇。廚房用了三條略大於手掌的黄花魚, 份量夠,黃花魚肉質鮮美,幼嫩。惟蘿蔔不夠甜,可能因為不是合時季節,湯底頗鮮味。(3)潮式古法蒸家豬肉餅,用木盆盛著不鏽鋼淺身碟蒸肉餅,內加了鮮魷,不韌。因家母的手剁肉餅水準很高,所以潮江春的肉餅在我的尺度算中規中矩

Other Info. : 今次晚飯各小菜不錯,美心集團一行服務水準亦很高,可惜整晚都食得不快。身後一枱三位中年男仕不停大大聲講時事,夾有幾句粗口。還有,隔鄰有八丶九歲細路整晚在酒樓跑來跑去,甚為滋擾!為何家長唔管教。有時唔想外出用膳,皆因唔想給這些 不顧公德的人影響胃口。美心集團應指示員工留意講粗口及小童奔跑玩耍情況,應予以勸止,當然最理想是各食客自制自律,公德無量!
