To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今年老爸的生日適逢是Boxing Day, 順理成章地一同慶祝. 為免人多擠迫, 加上老爸偏愛中菜, 所以選擇吃中餐. 該晚這間酒樓內人不多, 約7時都只是疏疏落落的有幾枱客人, 其他部分都劃分為鵲局. 我們點了"魚翅海鮮餐".金磚燒鵝皇 - 只有半碟燒鵝, 另外一半是豆腐. 燒鵝皮算脆, 肉質一般而已. 反而豆腐表面炸得香脆, 內裡香滑. 紅燒花膠雞絲翅 - 全晚所有菜式中最差的一款, 姊姊說街邊的碗仔翅都比它好! 基本上是杰撻撻又濁的生粉水! 花膠欠奉, 翅也是寥寥無幾, 不吃也罷!清蒸游水海石斑 - 意外的好! 火侯剛剛好, 吃起來魚肉十分滑, 魚有一斤多, 全晚最佳!!老干媽珍珠帶子 - 用老干媽醬煮珍珠帶子和翠玉瓜, 帶點辣, 一般水準. 鮮雞燜墨西哥鮑角 - 有點像啫啫雞煲的一個菜, 鮑角沒甚特別, 像吃微型的鮮鮑魚; 雞肉沒甚雞味, 應該是冰鮮雞而非鮮雞 (現在好像仍然是廿一日禁售期內, 何來鮮雞呢?)甜品: 紅豆沙 - 十分十分甜! 甜的程度是甜到難以入口! 所以只是吃了紅豆而已.生果盤 - 西瓜拼蜜瓜, 都幾甜. (不過吃完紅豆沙後吃的話, 就甚麼生果甜味也吃不出!)
