往年,農曆大年初一要飲茶嘆點心,最低限度要提前兩至三個星期訂枱;猶記得即使上年牛年年初一,雖然有疫情限聚令,市面氣氛仍算熱鬧。估唔到今年農曆年底前疫情復熾,禁止晚市堂食,午飯時段人流也大為減少。訂枱容易了,「麒藝館」甚至有主餐牌七折優惠!碰巧餐廳門口接待處的背壁用上桃紅色作主調,室內又有一大幅棗紅色牆身;只需要將玄關前的盆栽換成一大盤紫紅色的蝴蝶蘭,立即充滿新春氣氛。室內裝潢其中一邊設有包廂,大廳則以6人圓枱及四方形2至4人細枱為主;沒有舖上枱布,裝修風格走簡約輕便中餐路線,與主打花膠名貴菜式似乎格格不入。配合新春時節,以優惠價推出三款套餐,豐儉由人。午飯時段,還是喜歡吃幾款點心及揀幾個簡單小菜。爆米蜆介鯪魚球($78)賣相有趣,將三粒迷你炸鯪魚球串在一起,一客兩串。鯪魚球表面沾滿炸至脆卜卜的白色爆米花,碟底再鋪上一層金黃色的爆米花,簡單得來有心思,提升這客小食的賣相。炸鯪魚球表層有脆卜卜的爆米花,咬下去則煙韌彈牙;鯪魚肉鮮甜,味道稍為偏鹹,如果多一點陳皮蓉增添香氣會更好味。醬皇鳳爪($68)汆水唔夠徹底,有少少臊味;醬皇味道太淡,鳳爪唔夠惹味,亦唔夠軟腍。以此級數的粵菜館,鳳爪不合格
