作為一個 Oyster Lover, 一早就已經放棄咗想喺香港搵到好有水準嘅生蠔,主要因為天氣熱同潮濕好難搵到餐廳供應到最新鮮最乾淨嘅生蠔, 而且好的shucking skills都不容易做到。但係好開心終於比我搵到呢間可以媲美我喺加拿大同英國食到嘅質素。前菜我哋試咗10隻”John’s pick of the day” oysters, 由“the oyster king” John Stewart 挑選。餐廳話生蠔全部都係飛機貨好新鮮唔會放喺雪櫃多過三日。佢哋嘅選擇唔係太多所以能夠好好控制生蠔嘅品質。我用檸檬去測試佢哋係唔係全部新鮮,結果所有都passed!試咗4個唔同產地嘅生蠔,由淡味食到比較重金屬味。海水嘅鹹味同鮮甜完美配合,口感仲非常之creamy。完全冇用到cocktail sauce 同埋醋, 淨係用咗檸檬汁同黑胡椒,因為生蠔嘅味道都已經非常濃郁。我發覺佢哋冇入美國同日本嘅生蠔覺得奇怪,店主就解釋話佢始終鍾意用法國生蠔因為味道最精緻,大小最適中。第二道菜我哋試咗喇沙味青口,本身自己唔太喜歡將海鮮同太重味嘅食材配搭,但係好開心見到佢哋調配得唔錯青口煮得剛好,完全唔會過熟,調

第三道菜係12安士嘅美國西冷扒,本身係Seafood bar 我對肉類或者其他熱食個期望唔會太高。但係出奇地餐廳選擇左幾優質嘅厚切西冷而且煮得唔錯,煎得好香又唔會過分燒焦。牛扒配上新鮮沙律同自家製牛肝菌汁同胡椒汁。

第四道菜係蟹肉闊條麵,比其他西餐廳佢嘅蟹肉多好多,配忌廉醬呢個配搭絕對冇問題。

最後甜品係tiramisu, 亦都做得不錯,唔會有太多cream,酒精比其他多少少,為咁豐富嘅一餐作最後點綴幾適合。
