Introduction
Raw Bar No.8 aka RB8 is a diamond-in-the-rough award winning casual dining oyster bar restaurant located in the Sheung Wan district of Hong Kong island. With seating capacity of 50, a 16-foot oyster showcase and private karaoke room, RB8 is today rated as Hong Kong's top 7 oysterbar, also Asia's first oyster omakase.
RB8's mission is to bring to customers premium oysters and share knowledge on the safest ways to consume them raw. Oysters are adeptly shucked with the English technique that primes hygiene and preserves the integrity and flavour of the oyster flesh.
RB8's light-hearted atmosphere is adequately encapsulated in the phrase: "People confuse me. Food doesn't." - famously quoted by the late Mr Anthony Bourdain featured on a wall mural at the restaurant's main reception area.

好少搵到正既蠔吧,但就比我地發現西環有間正蠔吧,立即同🐷一齊試,地點以為好隱蔽,但其實好易搵❤️先來個生蠔拼盤($396/6隻)1. Beomer Bay:清甜爽脆,帶有淡淡的海洋風味和輕微的鹹味。2. Saldanha Bay:口感鮮美,擁有豐富的鮮味和柔滑的質地。3. Poésie:滋味濃郁,具有濃厚的海洋鮮味和出色的口感。4. Ronald Lambert:鮮甜可口,肉質豐滿且味道鮮美,帶有淡淡的海洋氣息。5. Sentinelle:清爽宜人,帶著淡淡的甘甜和微妙的海洋風味。6. Duck哥🦆診放假陪Duck嫂🦆去上環海味街入貨🛍,行得攰攰哋又到咗食晚飯時間🕖,Duck嫂🦆話要舒舒服服坐低食牛扒🥩,收到🫡!於是上Openrice 查下附近有咩好介紹,見有間連明星都有幫襯嘅餐廳“八蠔吧”就係附近,當然要試下啦😆!餐廳門口裝修得比較低調,但進入餐廳後又呈現出一種既時尚又高格調嘅氛圍🥰,座位舒適閮落空間感十足。坐低睇真啲,發現原來所有畫作🎑及擺設🏺都與蠔🦪有關。法色蒜蓉牛油焗田螺 $98焗得好靚嘅田螺肉放係薯蓉🥔上面,再用一個球形盤碟盛載🍵,感覺高级又精緻。螺肉柔軟嫩滑,薯蓉十分幼滑,薯味突出😍,每食一口都充斥著香濃嘅牛油🧈蒜香🧄味,勁好食😋。焗蠔拼盤 $178(3隻) 入到嚟蠔吧當然想試下佢地嘅生蠔🦪,但可惜當日狀態不佳,唯有叫焗蠔😆;焗蠔有3️⃣款口味,基爾帕特里克煙肉、洛克菲勒式及牛油香草,蠔新鮮飽滿多汁,口感creamy帶礦物味,用煙肉🥓或牛油🧈香草一齊焗,味道香濃惹味😋,用洛克菲勒配蠔齊焗,令味道更鮮香,口感更豐富🥰。美國頂級肉眼扒配 季節蔬菜及燒汁 $428肉眼扒🥩烤得十分出色,表面焦脆香口,7️⃣成熟成度啱啱好,肉色呈鮮紅色🔴,內質軟嫩多汁,牛味香濃🥰。配菜有烤過嘅球芽甘藍及甘筍🥕,味道甘香清甜,惹味香口,仲配有幼滑又薯味香濃嘅薯蓉🥔,點埋燒汁一齊食更好味😋。黑松露蘑菇意粉 $188未上枱已經聞到陣陣松露香味😍,果然松露味道🍄香濃,意粉🍝軟硬度啱啱好,加上蘑菇🍄份量多又炒到香口入味,整體非常好食🤤。總括而言,Duck哥Duck嫂好耐都未食過咁滿意既一餐,無論食物質素、環境和服務都冇乜得可以挑剔💯,強烈推薦俾大家,特別係鍾意食蠔,一定要去試下。
