OK this is yet another addition to the ever-growing SB family...there's just a branch across the street and now they can still afford to have another one, awesomeWhile you may think the coffee and the food in every SB shop may be the same, 蛇竇 is the word to describe this particular branch. While you may think the coffee and the food in every SB shop may be the same, 蛇竇 is the word to describe this particular branch. There is an area round the corner that is pretty much secluded and no one will notice you there...surely it will become one of the nearby offices' Snake King favourites.
This time I tried the Souffle Cheese Cake ($25). It's like your usual spongy Japanese chesse cake and it's not too sweet or heavy. It's simple comfort food but nothing impressive lah.
Strange that they have NO iced Tazo teas on the menu (I don't like sweetened tea) so I had to order a hot one (Tall $20) and ask the staff to give me a cup of ice. Why just hasn't anyone thought of this?
That said, now there's one point that has made me a die-hard supporter of SB - free Wifi. Like McDonald's Starbucks nows offers 20 mins of free Wifi courtesy of Y5Zone.
