筆者與太太勻是嗜蟹之人,最近從友人口中得知皇家太平洋酒店的柏景餐廳正推廣以蟹為主題的自助餐,當然要訂座一試。 今時今日吃自助晚餐,普遍也要五百元起。是次自助晚餐的定價也差不多,正價 $578 + 10% 一位,但手持 Citibank 信用卡可享七折,即約 $465 一位,定價合理。一如既往,在正式啟動前先四處行一圈,先了解餐廳有甚麼美食,另趁機讓相機先食。沙律吧有一系列菜蔬及成品沙律供選擇。各菜蔬賣相都幾新鮮,尤其喜愛凱撒沙律的羅馬生菜及雜果沙律,前者食感清脆,後者味道甜爽。如覺得純吃沙律有點單調,可考慮配上各式凍肉芝士。除常見的帕爾馬火腿外,更有特別的風乾牛肉薄切,同樣鹹香味濃。 海鮮吧方面,海鮮款式比預期多,有長腳蟹、麵包蟹、龍蝦、青口、海蜆、海螺、海蝦、瀨尿蝦等等,鮮甜味道以長腳蟹(拑)及海蝦較為理想,其餘海鮮普遍略為淡口。除了龍蝦外,其餘海鮮供應量足不曾間斷。 和食佳餚款式不算太多,刺身有三文魚、鯛魚、希靈魚及蟹柳等等,淺嚐了三數片,食味都算新鮮,但用料賣相談不上是上佳選材,屬可接受範圍。壽司款式相對較多,有甜蝦帶子等刺身沒有的款式。車仔麵檔選擇豐富,但以筆者習慣來說,比較少
