To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

難得火炭附近開咗一間咁近嘅譚仔，就同屋企人一齊去試下下午茶，但結果令人大失所望。1）餐具衛生❌明明係新店，但熱飲杯污糟到有一層啡色嘢喺杯內壁，仲要可以羹刮到啡色嘢出嚟。2）食品安全❌外賣嗌豬脷，食到落口一陣怪味，調轉一睇背面，黏有白色粒粒物，疑似食物壞咗嘅菌。3）食品質素❌同屋企人人落咗兩碗下午茶，一碗鴨血粉。其中兩份下午茶配餸嚴重不足，未食足四分之一已經無嗮配餸。亦都係我同屋企人第一次食譚仔淨低咁多米線。本身都鐘意譚仔，但今次呢間分店實在質素欠佳，對其感到失望，以後都唔會選擇火炭呢間譚仔進食。
