Back to the mochi. It has a crunchy inside and spongy outside. It is made with sweet glutinous rice flour mixed with water, and possibly with Maltese powder to get to this brown color and flavour. And for your information, mochi is sweet pillow dough and with just flour and water which makes this product 100% vegan!
