To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 老公講過好多次呢間啲嘢唔好食,我係唔信,點都要親身試一次;簡咗位坐底就水都冇一杯就即刻有位姐姐企定定喺隔離等我落單,我話轉頭落單,我睇咗一陣再叫人嚟,今次係個肥叔叔,四萬咁嘅口問我想食咩,都係水都冇杯俾我,少少哋就試吓個下午茶,叫咗個XO醬金菇肥牛炒烏東下午茶餐,再加$6叫咗杯凍檸賓少冰;凍檸賓講明少冰,就同正常冰冇分別,即刻叫肥叔攞個杯仔俾我,又係四萬咁口攞嚟,拔咗細半杯冰出嚟,淨返大半杯檸賓飲;仲話係咪蹝嘢食店,真係配咩?!等一陣好快就有XO醬金菇肥牛炒烏東食,係我自己要走韮走蔥,所以成碟嘢都係黑墨墨嘅豉油色,香味就當然只有豉油香,完全冇XO香味,食落更加冇XO味,加幾辣椒絲就話會辣,辣都唔辣下,只得個咸字,仲話係少鹽少糖食店,真係一啲都唔配。肥牛份量一般,但金菇得一兩條,想搵多條都冇,烏東麵質太淋,如果炒嘅就唔應該太淋。整體嘢食唔值得再食,水吧先生沖嘢飲沖得太麻木喇,多啲留意火記寫客人嘅要求,樓面員工服務非常好,識對客人笑,只要記得客人入坐時係唔係都整杯水先實冇死。一間餐廳最緊要係啲嘢好食,有幾好嘅服務都係唔會發揮得到,有幾近民居都係冇用,啲嘢唔好食永遠都唔會有回頭客。
