兒子要去吃「政治飯」,兩老無所事事,下班後,最佳嘅節目,當然就是外出覓食。之前聽朋友介紹,話牛頭角安基商場有間開咗約莫大半年嘅越南餐廳,據說食物水準唔錯,價錢經濟實惠,服務又好,推介我一試。講真,筆者從來未試過去呢個屋苑商場搵食,反正這天有得放早,閒著無聊,就一於先去附近逛逛,再去吃頓晚飯。店子裝潢甚討好,以黑白兩色為主調,天花嘅吊燈非常搶眼,型格而不俗氣。入面轉彎位設有落地大玻璃,可以一邊用餐,一邊欣賞外面嘅街景,悠然自得,感覺亦蠻不錯。餐牌好有時代感,設計成一本 magazine 模樣,非常之有心思,充滿年青活力。翻開內頁,菜式選項甚豐,有越式沙律、越南麵包、米紙卷、越式小食、越南湯粉、越式撈檬、飯意粉、火鍋、越南帽子海鮮火鍋及甜品等。既然餐廳用上米紙作店名,就先來一客燒豬頸肉米紙卷 ($42)  做頭盤。米紙卷嘅外皮非常薄,完全唔黐嘴,入口帶米香,而入面嘅材料就有豬頸肉、生菜、青瓜、紅蘿蔔絲、米粉和薄荷葉等。豬頸肉燒得剛好,肉汁豐富,爽口彈牙,一點也不膩口,吃時蘸魚露品嘗,倍添滋味。接著是一客扎肉蒸粉包 ($48),粉卷以木盒盛載,上桌時仍冒著煙,新鮮熱辣。老實不客氣,馬上用匙羹

接著是一客扎肉蒸粉包 ($48),粉卷以木盒盛載,上桌時仍冒著煙,新鮮熱辣。老實不客氣,馬上用匙羹舀起一件入口,粉皮雖然說不上晶瑩剔透,但食落帶點柔韌,有勁道,滑不溜口。入面餡料有扎肉、沙葛、紅蘿蔔、木耳、洋蔥和芫荽等,爽口清甜,喜歡的話還可以蘸些魚露,酸酸甜甜,夠曬醒胃。

筆者無飯癮,揀咗個鮮蝦豬肉越南麵包 ($33)  做主菜,而老公就揀咗泰妃雞飯。法包即叫即焗,Size 勁大,估計有成 8 吋長,上桌時塞滿餡料,氣勢十足。廚師非常細心,已經將法包一分為二,方便客人享用。先嘗一口包身,麵包焗得剛好,不會太硬,夠曬脆口,蝦隻彈牙,豬肉多汁甘香,配埋生菜、番茄、青瓜、香葉等蔬菜一起入口,非常豐富,讓人吃得津津有味。

至於泰妃雞飯 ($70),雞件皮薄肉嫩,肉質滑溜,煮得夠曬入味,而且脂肪不重。甜豉油不會過甜,蘸雞能提升鮮味。飯就用黃薑炒過,睇得出製作絕不馬虎,不過如果可以落多啲雞油,味道應該會更加出色。

飲品方面,雞飯配有熱飲,轉凍飲亦只須加 $3。至於散點飲品就有沙冰、乳酪沙冰、特飲等,揀咗鹹檸檬七喜 ($17),味道甜甜酸酸,帶一絲絲鹹味,冰涼解渴。埋單除開每人都只係 $117,經濟抵食。
