日式好像沒那麼吸引,兩個餐都點了西式蠔湯。果然沒令人失望。香濃幼滑,忌廉中混著既清又濃的蠔鮮,沒想到蠔跟忌廉如此夾,夠特別,又美味。

蟹籽沙律

不似把大量青瓜絲和蟹柳跟沙律醬拌勻而成的一般蟹籽沙律,它有一大堆蟹籽,比例絕對比青瓜和蟹柳多。底下有西式沙律菜,口感更豐富。

煙燻蠔

由於晚餐每樣只有一隻,散叫了兩隻一份的煙煄蠔。口感跟蠔豉有幾分相似,但比蠔豉濕潤。有陣煙燻香在口裡飄過,然後是濃縮的蠔味,加少少油香。

試了好幾個做法,最普通是吉列。雖然鬆脆,但炸得偏油,而且蠔太細,在炸粉和油味的掩蓋下,蠔的味道和口感都不太出。

普通的菜式,卻燒出不平凡。油被迫出來,皮燒至乾、脆、香口,肉質不嚡不韌。切開的雞翼吃起來很方便。

江田島蠔飯

期待已久、賣相精緻的蠔飯,反而有點失望。珍珠米圓潤飽滿,少少黏,少少硬,濕度度、軟硬度都恰到好處。不過,味道一般,飯香不出,只有淡淡的醬油味,唯獨喜歡紫菜伴飯的味。

食物有好有壞,但整體感覺不錯,尤以蠔湯、串燒最出色,刺身也新鮮,油炸的菜式則有待改善。或者新開的緣故,店員不太熟手,上菜亦頗慢,幸而環境氣氛都一流,邊談,邊慢慢等,享受愉快的一夜。
