To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今天，朋友相約請食中午自助餐，準時12點到埗，眼看已有人龍一條，心想見怪不怪，應該很快……，殊不知排了差不多25分鐘才可入內，效率奇“高”，最精彩的還在後頭。聽見有生蠔，立即排隊輪候，前面排了約8位，心想等5分鐘內也差不多……，又殊不知排了大約15分鐘才到手兩大隻，開蠔的是年青人，但速度好比老人家，尤其過水環節，每隻用15秒洗白白，酒店培訓果然特別。熟食方面無驚喜，一個字少坐到唔夠2點走人，lunch buffet 220/位，牌面有生蠔（蠔是生鮮的），食到幾多又係另一回事，值唔值見仁見智，酒店賣弄手段，以為可以大賣特賣，非也，精明的香港人又豈會給你愚弄已被愚弄的香港人
