To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 在此店為朋友慶祝生日。十六個人,叫了廿多款小食、小菜及甜品。前菜(酸菜/花生/青豆):想不到細細碟的前菜很好味,很開胃。方魚肉碎粥 x2:煲得夠綿,不太鹹,但份量很少。四式潮式拼盤:傳統的鹵味,如鹵豆腐、鹵蛋、魷魚等。味道一般。椒鹽九肚魚:香脆,但肉少。咕嚕肉:味道OK。茶樹菇蒸桂花魚:茶樹菇炒菜苗:菜苗很嫩。清新健康。西蘭花炒帶子:西蘭花爽嫩,帶子鮮甜。腐竹鮮奶浸小棠菜:味道OK。海皇粉絲煲 x2:粉絲是炒過的,很香,但份量很少。醬燒雞:雞肉嫩滑,不肥膩,而且件數頗多。糖醋煎麵 x2:煎得不夠香脆,但好在不油膩。煎蠔餅 x2:太黏太濕,不夠香。xx豬腸:反沙芋頭:一碟六條。外層的砂糖很散,砂糖和芋條是分離的。味道和口感皆不行。芋泥 x2:很好味,不過頗膩。紅棗糕:軟中帶韌,不太甜,好味。雙色水晶包:一籠四個,有兩款餡。吃了一個豆沙餡的,餡料份量足,不太甜,不錯。果凍 x2:味道一般,勝在給人清涼的感覺。蛋白杏仁茶 x4:壽包12個:包身不算十分軟熟,蓮蓉餡很少。啤酒、汽水埋單連加一及茶芥, 大約$27xx。食物味道一般,尤其是應該要做得好的潮州菜,卻不太行,令人失望,反而前菜和甜點挺
