To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 是日起個大清早,去飲個早茶,由於美孚其他酒樓於七時三十分、八時或九時始開始營業,不像富臨皇宮於六時三十分開門,可見該集團頗照顧老人家、街坊,值得稱許;但話得說回來,我也常來這兒早茶、晚膳;晚膳還好一點,早茶時部分的服務員、部長態度則不敢恭維,應該再培訓,叫她們總是愛理不理,詐看不見;不少枱是空着,卻被服務員開咭佔據,就是等待那些幫她們買糭券、月餅券、年糕券的熟客。照顧熟客本來我也不反對,但佔據枱的數量應有限,不買糭券、月餅券、年糕券的客人也有付加一服務費,難道不需服務?上網查看,原來有不少顧客亦有同感,希望集團高層注意並糾正。口碑不是抵食就算了事,我不是說該店全部服務員都有問題,少量不良服務員態度可毀掉一間公司。最近該集團酬賓,早茶十分抵食,我們點了如下點心:梅菜肉餅飯 $2.8上週賣價是$6.8,現今勁減至$2.8,每人衹限一盅;最重要是廚房用心做飯,不像過往不是水太多導致飯稀爛,就是水太少導致飯過硬,且肉餅做得不錯,肥瘦比例適當,若梅菜稍多一點,會更美味。希望以後能維持這個水準。鳳爪排骨飯 $8.8並無做特價,但亦算便宜,鳳爪做得不錯,好味有嚼頭,排骨雪得有點過,欠肉味。香菰雞包仔

上週賣價是$10.8,我較喜歡這兒的雞包仔,包皮鬆軟,雞肉雖不多,還算可以,包有點細,記得一定要趁熱食。

七星點心拚盤及生菜魚滑粥 $27.8
以往七星點心拚盤單叫已是$23.8,現加上生菜魚滑粥(或香茜牛肉腸、或蠔皇鮮竹卷),相當抵食。

生菜魚滑粥
粥做出來不稠不稀,算是不錯,鯪魚肉不夠新鮮,下次該轉換香茜牛肉腸。

七星點心拚盤
七星點心拚盤包括菜肉包、蝦餃、紅棗糕、蒸饅頭、魚蓉燒賣、粉果及菜苗餃。菜肉包做得得幾好,包皮鬆軟,菜肉味道亦佳、蝦餃內包兩隻蝦,幾鮮甜,好食,個人認為是七款中最佳;蒸饅頭、魚蓉燒賣及菜苗餃不過不失;粉果做得最差,皮厚,炸花生不脆,不吃也罷;紅棗糕清甜美味,記得要留在最後吃。

整體來說,食品質素有改善,價錢相宜,若不太計較服務,早茶嘆報,算是一個選擇。
