To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 在假期前一天,我們一行五人去了牛角叮晚餐,選擇了超值的2人餐,真是一個明智的決定。因為我是銀卡會員,只需$499就能享用這套餐,性價比非常高。套餐包含了前菜、燒肉與海鮮盛合,以及牛角飯,而主菜中的黑毛和牛牛肋肉,油花分布均勻,肉質鮮嫩,入口即化,搭配秘傳醬汁的牛胸腹,味道惹味,令人垂涎。每一口都充滿了滿足感,讓人忍不住想要再來一份。雞腿肉則相當甘香脆嫩,烤得恰到好處,讓人一口接一口,根本停不下來。除了套餐,我們還額外點了石鍋日本牛旨味飯,飯粒吸收了肉汁,香氣四溢,吃上一口就如同置身於日本的美味之中。黑毛和牛旨味湯烏冬的湯頭濃郁,烏冬彈牙,雖然牛肉略硬了一些,但整體口感仍然讓人感到滿意。此外,三味上級牛頸內脊更是一大亮點,肉質滑嫩,超美味,讓我們每個人都讚不絕口。
