As I wanna see the Sanrio Village in Maritime Square, B planned to brunch in C'est Bon, which is the restaurant we wanted to try for a long time. The atmosphere is very romantic. We selected the Seafood Platter Set.
The first course to come is the Seafood Platter. It's huge! I mean the bowl. On top of the ice, there're a 6 clams, 6 mussels, 4 shrimps, 2 abalones, oysters and a lobster. The waiter taught us to start with lighter taste seafood first, which are the clams and mussels. And then proceed with shrimps and oysters. If he hadn't said so, I would have jumped to the oysters! We almost ate the Seafood Platter for an hour as we wanted to enjoy every moment of it.
The second course is the soup. There are four choices to choose from, namely, onion soup, salmon pumpkin soup, cognac lobster bisque and truffle mushroom soup. We chose the latter 2 ones. At first, I thought that the lobster bisque would be terrific. However, there’s too much cognac. It’s too bitter. Then I tried the truffle mushroom soup. That’s very nice!
Next is the Pasta. One is foie gras and the other is truffle. They smelled good.
Last but not least, it’s the Dessert. We didn’t go for Tiramisu this time. B chose melting chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream. I chose penna cotta. That’s the dessert I tried it in last Valentine’s Day. Yummy!
This is such a nice lunch. Thank you B! It marked the start of my J.S. and your examination! Way to go!
