To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

之前食過幾次粟米濃湯通粉，覺得味道不錯，於是久唔久都有幫襯一次，但係今日真係有啲失望。今日下午茶叫咗個生炸雞髀沙律，黎到發現個沙律融緊雪，成碟都水汪汪咁，食左一啖，裡面係結哂冰，對於有敏感牙齒的我來說，完全食唔到落去。之後向店員反映，佢話沙律係咁，雪唔夠凍就會壞，完全無意跟進就打發了我。其實我都明白呢個道理，但係除了要求食物唔變壞外，作為一間餐廳，其實食物質素都好重要，沙律結冰而融雪融到成隻碟都係，仲浸到隻炸髀......
