To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 之前去過兩間「喜喜冰室」的銅鑼灣分店,搬到百德新街之後,該兩間分店已經先後結業。還記得第一次去「喜喜」,已經深深被仿古懷舊的裝修風格所吸引,尤其刻意模仿六七十年代的舊冰室佈局,包括紙皮石鋪地、顏色老土的細細塊牆身瓷磚。但同時又採用較為摩登的設計用色,整體感覺乾淨企理又光鮮,將冰室既殘舊及衛生情況較差的一貫印象改觀,也是仿懷舊冰室的先驅。第一次光顧百德新街「喜喜」,門口在百德新街的後街,如果唔係刻意尋找,根本唔知道有間舖。雖然叫做後街,卻相當寬闊,舖位門口甚至有一大片空地。餐廳老闆就善用這片空間,放了幾台三輪車供兒童嬉戲,甚至擺了一張乒乓波枱。「飯後抽幾板 流連又忘返」及「歡迎扣殺 謝絕喧嘩」,很抵死、又貼切。室內裝修玩得更加徹底,懷舊味道比起新會道、加寧街或者九龍灣淘大商場的舊店更有風味。四週牆上擺滿卡式盒帶(cassette tapes)、黑膠唱片封套,還有大大塊課室黑板及粉筆字。不過,亦顯得有點雜亂無章,感覺只是將好多70年代舊物、及那些年的銅鑼灣特徵,七堆八湊放在一起 ⋯⋯ 儘管如此,但又的確令人緬懷那些年雖然物質不富裕、但人人充滿獅子山下精神的香港。全部都係娛樂圈中人,究竟

假日下午茶餐炸雞肶拼蝦片($68)即使包括餐飲,價錢仍然很貴。蝦片味道非常一般,不值一提;雞肶卻係出色嘅茶餐廳出品。生炸雞肶雞皮特别香脆;雞肉也特別香口,咬落啖啖雞肉充滿肉汁。

法蘭西多士($38)用了兩件厚切方包,更加大件、更加厚身。睇得出整件方包滲滿了雞蛋漿,然後半煎炸而成,所以多士表面金黃之餘,亦有少少煎得燶燶地的效果。切開之後就有少少失望,兩件方包之間並沒有塗上花生醬;咬落去缺少了花生醬的香甜,但意外地除了牛油及雞蛋香之外,竟然多了點點甜味。問了侍應,原來多士同時沾了橙汁及雞蛋漿才炸,味道較普通法蘭西多士出色。

港式茶餐廳中算偏貴,勝在環境有特色。未見過70、80年代銅鑼灣啲90後固然值得朝聖一下,成長於70年代的一輩也可到來緬懷一下。
