其實我未開始寫Blog之前,是一個自助餐痴,每個星期總要去過一兩轉才安落,所以體重亦一下子暴增。雖然都會做下Research才去,但始終都總有撞板時,唯有草草了事。然而食物質素不好當然令人失望,可是我更不喜歡Refill速度慢及要輪侯很久才拿到丁點食物的自助餐。最近,朗廷酒店的L’Eclipse重新包裝,展現了一個新面貌,易名為The Food Gallery,格局開揚,而且廚師與客人有更多的接觸。食物編排上確有點特別,但每個位置都有相當多的款式,而且當中更有些特別的Cooking Station,令人感覺新鮮。始終我是喜歡先由海鮮吧開始,吧上款式豐富,生蠔有三款選擇,分別是Pacific Oyster, US Oyster & Australian Oyster。另外,吧上還有青口、凍蝦、小龍蝦、石蟹、翡翠螺、亞拉斯加蟹腳、琵琶蝦及波士頓龍蝦等等,款款新鮮,而且旁邊更有多款醬汁可供選擇。一轉身後,便是沙律吧,預先拌好的有幾款,但我還是喜歡由自己調配,選擇喜歡的材料,再加入喜歡的醬汁,新鮮爽脆。當然還有刺身壽司吧等等,閒來吃上一兩件,心情也會特別開朗。今次我會重點推介他們的頭盤切肉吧,

今次我會重點推介他們的頭盤切肉吧,自成一角,掛著多款不同的凍肉或風乾肉,感覺有點像外國的肉檔,相當有市場的氣氛。所提供的款式不算多,但勝在質素及味道。煙三文魚用上BALIK Style來製作,原條厚切,煙燻香濃重,油潤甘香。巴馬火腿及辣肉腸同樣不俗,咸香與油香並重。可是當中的凍批無論在款式及味道上都有驚喜,分為兩大類的肉凍批及肝醬凍批,肉凍批相當惹味,有著油脂的甘香。肝醬凍批當然同樣惹味,質感軟滑,但配上紅莓干的更是非常美味,紅莓的酸味減輕了那份油膩感。

旁邊便是引人矚目的香煎鴨肝了,大廚不斷地烹調,外層煎得香脆,內裡油脂甘香,實在動人,而且更可自行選配材料,有Fig Relish、Pickled Pear & Mustard Seed Jam及Balsamic Onion Confit,既可減輕油膩,亦可增添鴨肝的美味。

當中有個Cooking Station相當有趣,就是蒸魚吧了。吧上放滿了不同款式的鮮魚,選中魚的種類及部份後,廚師們會拿去蒸,之後便送到客人的桌上。是晚就有鱸魚、紅鮋、盲鰽及黃立倉等,先後點上了數尾來吃,各有千秋,但都有一並同點,就是火喉掌握得相當好,魚肉剛好離骨,相當嫩滑,值得一讚。

另一邊則是即烤生蠔,配料有四款可供選擇,廚師們不斷地烤,並且以火爐烘著保持溫度。此處的燒烤食品特別多,還有一系列的肉類及海鮮,重點必是原隻意式烤乳豬,將多款如豬肉、豬盰及米飯等材料切碎拌勻釀回乳豬內,吃時皮脆肉惹味。當然不少缺少的是燒西冷扒,大大條西冷燒得微焦,肉味濃郁又軟腍,而且醃料的味道很好,帶上少少果醬的香。

來到甜品時間,蛋糕的款式十分多,達七至十款,特別一點的有冧酒栗子蛋糕等等,亦有一些即焗甜品,如麵包布甸及疏乎厘。當中怎可缺少了雪糕呢,Movenpick的焦糖雪糕是我的至愛,也不理得飽肚的感覺,吃多了兩球。
