To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 平日的午市,難得不多人。有很多特價的點心,炒粉麵飯及盅頭飯。蘿蔔糕 - 切成六小嚿,味道很淡很粉!點了旁邊的醬也沒甚作用。上湯菜肉雲吞 - 每粒雲吞漲卜卜!皮薄身得來不易穿,餡料亦飽滿。菜與肉的比例平均,不錯呢!櫻花蝦炒飯 - 材料簡單的炒飯,配料亦只有蔥花、幾嚿蝦仁、櫻花蝦乾。不過炒飯炒得很有飯香,而且粒粒分明不乾身。櫻花蝦帶有微微的咸香之餘又脆卜卜,很刺激味蕾!食完主食不得不叫甜品,南瓜黃金餅出乎意料之外地好吃。質感很黏很煙韌,像食糯米磁般的感覺!內裡釀入滿滿的南瓜茸,食落不太甜,很好吃!面層滲上芝麻粒增加口感。
