It was lunch time and it was going to rain with the dark sky. When we saw 別天神, we stepped inside without second thought. Lucky us that it was almost full in 15 min after we were seated. We arrived at around 12:15p.m. on Saturday. Please do come early to avoid the queue. It was the 7th time for us to visit 別天神. It was the 7th time for us to visit 別天神. Before this, we had been to the ramen bars at Causeway Bay, Taikoo, Central and here. We had to admit that it was so far the best meal among all our previous visits because the ramen were the best - of the most al dente texture which I always fancied and with the best char siu ever which were so rich in pork flavour.

As usual we ordered the same two ramen sets to share.

The Hakata Style Ramen had a super milky and smooth broth which was so concentrated and delicious. We finished all without any feeling of thirst afterwards. The char siu seemed to be the best I had ever tried because they were a bit chewy yet still tender and so rich in pork flavour. They were a perfect mixture of lean pork with some fat in the middle. There were two slices of char siu. There was a soft-boiled egg which was so soft and sweet as always. Other toppings included spring onion and crispy black fungi slices adding texture to the ramen. The sesame mash on top was added by us. You could add as much as you like and they added a lot of flavour and enhanced texture of the dish. Don't forget the slice of crispy seaweed on the side. It was so good to eat after dipping into the broth.

The most important of all, the ramen was so thin and super al dente - which was the texture I really liked. It seemed that they had improved their recipe or cooking time! Yummy yummy!

The Prawn Miso ramen was just equally good. The only difference was the broth and the sakura shrimps - adding smell and flavour of shrimps to the ramen, and the presence of sweet corn instead of black fungi slices which was equally crispy to add texture! 

As usual, each set came with 1 side, either 小龍蝦蟹籽沙津 or 煎餃.

As usual, the crayfish salad with crab roes was very appetising with delicious salad dressing and seaweed.

The pan fried dumplings were super freshly cooked and were so hot when served. They smelt super good. The wrapping was super thin with fresh ingredients. 

The spicy pickled bean sprouts were very spicy but fresh. Please help yourselves to add flavours and texture to your ramen. 

Service was super efficient. We finished everything within 20 min after we were seated, and we left with a full stomach and a satisfied tongue. As I set out at the heading, it was really 近來最好食既別天神!
