To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

連鎖快餐來說，算拿捏得不錯。踏入連鎖快餐，自行買票會多送飲品，買了咖喱牛肋條飯吃。咖喱即煲即吃，牛肋條同一大小，預先切好一份份，青椒紅椒大小份量一致，數分鐘連汁再加上椰汁稍稍一混，就可吃。快之餘，味道亦不差，香噴噴，汁煮得濃郁，又細滑，加上椰槳，辣中有椰香，而椰槳亦令那稠度稍減，去了一些霸氣，菜式亦變得融和，不錯的。在這店裡，透明度高，分工細緻，每一工序都定了計時器，我想如果作為一位廚師見到如此工廠流水作業式的場面，讚嘆之餘，難免會有一種被機械化的感覺吧。
