To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 南丫島的海鮮酒家大多集中在索罟灣,當中比較有名的就是天虹。他們的海鮮選擇多、座位大、人氣旺,也許因為近海的緣故,海鮮都是超新鮮的!今次我們點了很多海鮮,有龍蝦、蟹、扇貝、蜆、鮑魚等。牛油焗龍蝦:淡淡既牛油香,配以鮮嫩彈牙既龍蝦肉,口感十足。蒜茸粉絲蒸扇貝:扇貝都算厚肉,蒜和肉的鮮甜配合得很好,沒有互相搶味。粉絲也很入味。豆豉炒蜆,味道比較重,帶點微微的辣味,裡面的蜆肉很新鮮,夠彈牙,相當有驚喜。豆豉鮑魚:鮑魚體積雖然較少,但勝在夠新鮮,由於以豆豉來煮,味道比較重。總括而然,今次既南丫海鮮之旅,盡興而歸

今次我們點了很多海鮮
,有龍蝦、蟹、扇貝、蜆、鮑魚等。
