To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日閒日,臨近7點去到攞位唔洗排隊,餐廳可望到海景,坐位舒適,食物不錯。菜夠新鮮,除了羽衣甘藍外仲有果仁同芝士粒。芝士粒既份量都好多,材料及味道配搭得好豚肉舖上辣椒粉,烤熟後沾上酸酸辣辣既醬好開胃,醬汁內好多蒜蓉,夠重口味,啱我!椰菜絲份量適中肉質中等,整體還可以燒餅比較鬆散,主要海鮮係八爪魚,味道OK朋友點的廣島蠔,因為我本身唔食蠔所以無試到。錫紙盤內有調味料及湯汁,全個放上爐上燒,所以相比起燒蠔,煮法更像是烚蠔。牛肚好韌,比較難咬開
