To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 對上一次來BRICKLANE 已是兩年多前小妹臨別香港到英國的事,還記得當日有位神秘嘉賓出現,如今更成為身邊的另一半^_^。想起來,時間真的過得很快,很快。。。這天我們重回舊地,尋找英倫美食,但今次到訪的是金鐘的分店。這裡最特別的,是設有戶外坐位兼坐擁無敵維港景色,吸引了不少家庭假日驅車前來,而且樓下便有停車場,方便得很~先點飲品,從餐牌中點了比較少喝的的玫瑰伯爵茶,玫瑰甜度剛好,沒有蓋過伯爵茶清香,奶泡也香滑,很討好。假日總是來的放肆一點,炸薯條是幼身版本,炸得金黃香脆,雖知極度邪惡,但蘸些茄汁後彷彿把熱條氣程度大大減低,愈吃愈上癮~又是go green環節,沙律有好幾款,烤南瓜,海鮮等等,但我偏好多點「綠」,所以來個三文魚凯撒沙律。煙三文魚砌成小花,心思值得一讚,沙律醬伴得均勻,每片生菜都吃得滋味。主菜方面,毫不猶豫選了這裡的招牌全日早餐 All day breakfast (everything) 。陣容相當豐富,足夠二人共享~有齊薯餅,雞蛋(任何煮法),火腿,烤蕃茄,烤磨菇 多士,茄汁豆,芝士,豬肉腸,煙三文魚~ 吃完大大滿足 !Mr.D 是愛肉之人,他選了Roasted be

Mr.D 是愛肉之人,他選了Roasted beef rib,伴烤蔬菜及蕃薯粒。medium的生熟度加上薄切安格斯,吃落更嫩滑,牛肉味香,不忘旁邊的香草肉汁,無論蘸牛肉或伴菜也同樣美味。

甜胃啟動! 甜點項目很吸引,很多cake, brownie, crumble 等等...吃得飽飽,只點了相對「輕盈」的Eton mess,這是傳統的一道英式甜點,源於英國著名學府Eton College,由蛋白餅,士多啤梨雪糕,新鮮士多啤梨及忌廉堆做而成,也就是這道甜另一意思:將食材完全堆在一起的雜亂的外表,說起來真的很有趣。反正我愛既raw又很 home made 的感覺。

這區周日也營業的食肆不多,值得來輕輕鬆鬆吃個brunch後再到附近的添馬公園走走,超寫意的說。
