To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

趴走完亞公岩道一帶,食過早餐後,會合大隊,乘旅遊車出發往啟德道公園參加慈善步行籌款活動。驕陽以火,烈日曝曬下,即使踏入初秋,也幾乎中暑了﹗步行完畢,一行六十人乘車跟領隊到鯉魚門吃海鮮。跟團吃圍餐海鮮,好極有限,一早已有心理準備了。是日用餐,乃海傍道,籃球場後方的海德花園酒家。酒家遠離密密麻麻的海鮮大街,環境衛生較佳,地下不會濕漉漉,空氣中也沒有半點腥臭味。團餐乃七餸一湯,白飯任添,份量頗大碟的。枱上也有白水和茶水各一壺,唯一惹人詬病的,乃餐具只提供用完即棄的紙杯膠碟膠碗和竹筷子。由於出過汗水,大家飢腸轆轆,故急不及待地搯了一大碗軟硬適中且香糯的白飯。蛋花粟米魚肚羹濃稠度剛好,調味得宜,魚肚頗具嚼勁,稍嫌粟米未夠香甜。白灼海蝦簡單味美,蝦肉鮮爽彈牙。生炒菠蘿咕嚕肉拌入青紅椒、菠蘿和咕嚕肉同炒,酸甜開胃,伴飯吃一流,酸度可稍稍提升少許。魷魚魚片炒西芹炒得頗為濃香,爽滑魷魚挺富咬口和嚼勁,魚片鮮美爽彈,西芹也清爽可口。欖菜是潮汕食品,是用芥菜葉,配以青橄欖和鹽等醃製而成,鹹味適中且油香甘醇。這一道以欖菜入饌的欖菜蒸倉魚甘香美味,肉多骨少,適合小童和老人家吃用。白切雞烹調得頗為入味,中間部份雞
