To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

金飯館嘅椒鹽豬扒炒飯有啲特點,豬扒帶有油脂,但缺乏水分,所以食落嚟有啲乾。不過,椒鹽豬扒放喺炒飯上面,多餘嘅炸蒜為整道菜帶嚟濃厚嘅味道。食完之後,炸蒜嘅香氣仲停留喺口中。不過,用炒飯做飯底令整道菜略顯遜色,炒飯嘅味道唔夠突出,冇咁香。呢樣嘢令配料好易搶去主角嘅位置,炒飯作為飯底嘅意義變得唔太明顯。雖然炒飯嘅口感乾身,碟底亦冇多餘嘅油,顯示師傅嘅手藝真係好出色。只係可惜嘅係,因為上面嘅配料,經常會忽略底下嘅炒飯部分。呢個真係一個可惜嘅地方。總括而言,金飯碗嘅椒鹽豬扒炒飯有啲獨特嘅風味,椒鹽豬扒同香口嘅炸蒜為整道菜增添咗濃厚嘅味道。不過,炒飯作為飯底嘅表現略顯平淡,缺乏米香,而且容易被配料所掩蓋。雖然整道菜嘅口感乾身,碟底亦保持住乾爽,但好可惜,炒飯部分經常會被忽略。希望未來可以進一步改進,更好地平衡炒飯同配料之間嘅味道,令每一口都能夠充分品味到炒飯嘅美味。
