友人外遊回港,給我買了一些手信,而且還要專程拿來給我,實在太令人感動。既然好友咁有我心,我當然要一盡地主之誼,帶佢去我嘅主場度嘆下茶食下點心,而今次就揀咗位於康怡廣場北座的「玉桃軒」。呢間酒家每逢星期六、日同平日中午都非常旺場,為免排隊輪候,所以選了個較早的時段入座,而且更特意揀咗個開揚光猛的窗口位,坐得既鬆動又舒服。坐低後先開壺鐵觀音,然後再請友人代為揀點心。無嚟一排,原來茶錢同點心都已經加咗價,幸好升幅只屬輕微。先來的椰汁炸饅頭 ($19),外形小巧,的的骰骰,加上炸至色澤金黃,入口外脆內軟,沾上煉奶吃,既香口又不過甜。接著上桌的沙律明蝦角 ($30)  亦炸得非常脆口,不但皮薄餡多,而且入面嘅蝦肉好鮮香,加上外層無泛油光,食落一啲都唔油膩,配沙律醬吃,滋味一流。一品貴妃雞飯 ($42),碗雞飯賣相雖然唔算好靚仔,但原來入面的雞件份量都幾多,而且食落味道都唔錯,入口皮爽肉滑,配上軟硬適中嘅白飯同薑蔥,風味滿載。明爐即燒叉燒皇 ($58),叉燒係酒家的招牌菜,當然唔可以錯過。以梅頭做的叉燒,質素的確唔錯,肉質夠曬鬆化軟腍,加上肉味濃郁,食落帶嚼勁,肥膏又唔多,細嚼下還隱約飄散出玫瑰露

明爐即燒叉燒皇 ($58),叉燒係酒家的招牌菜,當然唔可以錯過。以梅頭做的叉燒,質素的確唔錯,肉質夠曬鬆化軟腍,加上肉味濃郁,食落帶嚼勁,肥膏又唔多,細嚼下還隱約飄散出玫瑰露的酒香,以蠔油豆伴吃,鹹鹹香香,非常好味。

壓尾的肉碎四季豆 ($48) 亦做得很有水準,不但色澤翠綠,而且條條都切至長短一致,入口清甜爽脆,加上欖菜伴炒,令肉碎的味道更為突出,兩者的平衡做得很好,鹹香惹味。

總括嚟講,呢間酒樓的食物質素不錯,令人滿意,不但環境舒服,而且服務態度友善,應該會 keep 住幫襯。
