To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 9/6(六) 2pm週六的下午可以偷得浮生,是無上的幸福!我倆約兩時抵步,北京樓跟潮江春原是相連,安坐於北京樓,可點潮江春之菜色,反之亦然.訂座時已要求被安頓於較寧靜的位置,結果亦如願地得到角落的二人座.環境方面非富麗堂皇,換上的是簡約的裝潢及格局,一洗傳統的俗套.先來餐前小食$25,繼而埋首於餐牌中.此等高級中菜館不提供大中小點的點心乃意料中事.我倆散點了蒸素餃$36,小籠包$28,火腿油卷$36,蔥油拌麵$38,酒糟小丸子$20.餐前小食--涼拌青瓜花生,爽脆青瓜粒及欠脆度的花生混入麻油提升香味.蒸素餃--餃皮厚身帶煙韌質感,淺咬一口已吃得白菜冬菇餡的爽甜清香,應記一功!小籠包--一籠四隻,包皮雖薄但不算滑身富彈牙;至於湯汁及肉餡稍膩,肉質方面反挺鮮味及具口感!火腿油卷--花卷變奏版,外型袖珍的油卷除混入蔥花,顧名思義亦加入了腿茸,水準平實.蔥油拌麵--質地略有咬口的白幼麵上面撤上適量蔥花,伴以甜醬油同吃,簡單樸實的一味!酒糟小丸子--酒味不重,芝麻餡小丸子顆顆煙煙韌韌,芝麻餡甜度份量皆恰好.服務水平方面,服務生的招呼屬一般;若然其面口寬容些,相信食客吃得更開懷;索價$240的午茶
