To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

以前食牛腩,毫無疑問,九記是我首選,可是數年前吃過水準直線下跌的牛腩,從此割蓆,頭也不回。每次路過九記,門外人龍依舊,但十個有十個是遊客,可見這個昔日不可一世的照牌,只為遊客服務。像我的市井之輩,想吃牛腩或牛雜。當然不乏選擇,土瓜灣的合隆,該區六十年老字號,(當然現址就無六十年啦)沒有甚麼傳媒介紹過,亦好像沒有遊客上過門。崩沙腩,是我心水之一,吃到油脂甘香,軟滑的肥膏位;鬆軟的肉質,長期處於高水平;嫌貴的話,可以只要牛腩,半肥瘦好喇。有不少麵店也有牛沙瓜,不過貨源甚少,這裡你只要開句聲就有,$40一碗,伊麵加$3。懂得欣賞就知是好東西,有如瓜狀的皺皮外表,煙韌中略帶爽,吸收了滷水的濃郁芳香,與湯底打成一片,爽滑的伊麵在這碗牛沙瓜裡面,只是點綴而已。來一碟淨沙瓜,加杯威士忌,至尊無上的享受呀。
