To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

街坊食肆自然供應街坊食品：粥，腸粉，粉麵，碟頭飯.... 不過最難得也是主角是即叫即做的多款蒸或煎魚餐，夠晒家庭風味。之前試粥和腸粉，有信心後今日點了冬菜蒸黃花。初時有點猶豫因為不是游水魚是否適合蒸？上桌一嚐，味道鮮甜，口感嫩滑，不再猶豫地下箸。隨餐還有油菜一碟、豆漿或加3元可選濃郁的菜乾豬肺湯。57元就享用了一頓一般茶餐廳、甚至酒樓找不到的愜意午餐。至於服務，店內嬸嬸直接了當告知食品選擇，還何需要求人家客客氣氣笑面迎人呢？
