雞煲興起源於約10年前,還記得當年除了正職外,還有一份副業就係食譜翻譯,當時的老闆算係第一代雞煲引入者,其中一間舖在佐敦,我亦親身試過,味道不錯。直至現在,坊間的雞煲店舖開到成行成市,證明很多香港人都係喜辣。今日到附近一間雞煲試試,因平時經過,都嗅到香濃的麻辣味,每次行過都令人口水直流,食指大動。$168/位雞煲加火鍋門口有個兵馬俑及古色古香的屏風店內樓底高,可能是舊樓的關係,放工6:30到達,已有幾枱客人。有多款餐前小吃,包括拍青瓜,蒜泥白肉,鷄腎,煙鴨胸,春卷,鹹菜豬肚等等。拍青瓜好爽口及開胃,蒜泥白肉就自己混醬配搭落去。雞煲可以選擇麻及辣的程度,適合大眾口味。自助醬料吧,有生蒜蓉、葱、辣椒、辣油、豉油。任飲飲品包括啤酒,可樂,道地茶系列等任食韓式雪條我們點了個麻辣雞煲,因我不太吃辣,所以只選擇少麻少辣。雞件醃得入味,雞肉炒得香口及嫩滑,麻辣味十足,食到我大汗淋漓。豆腐干吸收了雞肉的油份及麻辣味,比雞肉還惹味。食完雞煲再加水打邊爐食物種類不算太多,但食完雞煲,基本上都不太吃得下,只點少許試試。肩胛肥牛色澤鮮紅,肉質夠淋,但肉味不足。真係花膠膠質不足,有些爽口,吸收了麻辣湯的味道,食

總括而言,雞煲係整晚的亮點,其他打邊爐食物質素一般,不及雞煲吸睛。
