To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 自從領滙將附近的商場大裝修後, 增加了不少食肆, 桃園是其中之一.新店開張, 自然多附近的街坊來試新嘢, 所以單是等位已經用了廿分鐘.店內的環境不算擠迫, 但地下有很多紙巾和食物碎, 令人倒胃 !入到店內正是下午茶時段. 看看餐牌, 只有粉麵, 碟頭飯, 咖喱等等正價餐牌, 但茶餐廳必備的下午茶餐卻沒有.魚片頭河粉 $25: 一碗有六小件魚片頭, 顏色很白, 看起來炸得不夠火侯. 魚片頭沒有魚味, 粉多於魚, 而且又不彈牙, 水準以下...浸在淡如開水的河粉, 份量很多, 入口一般滑溜 薑蔥乾炒牛河 $45: 乾炒牛河的份量不多,  河粉炒得不均勻, 部分完全沒有沾上醬油, 白雪雪的, 而且炒功不夠, 河粉黏在一起, 不是條條分明; 牛肉用鬆肉粉腌過, 雖然不硬, 但已經沒有了牛肉的質感和味道.熱鴛鴦很難喝, 茶葉和咖啡用的是下貨, 完全不香不滑, 只有苦澀味, 加糖加奶也補救不了, 是近期喝過的最難飲的鴛鴦.侍應服務不佳, 召喚了也裝作聽不到, 應了客人後完全沒有再來跟進; 單是等落單也等了五分鐘; 送食物上枱又送錯, 水準之低, 絕對有再培訓的必要. 整體上是不滿意的, 無論食

整體上是不滿意的, 無論食物水準, 環境, 以至服務水平, 都有大大改善的必要. 店家的定價, 對屋村客來說絕不便宜, 如果不作改善的話, 客人肯定會很快流失.
